What is your mission as a Project Lead in Gipanis GmbH?

As E-commerce Project Lead, you are the spider in the web within the e-commerce team. You usually work in multidisciplinary teams with colleagues from various departments on projects that will enable the Laublust brand to conduct e-commerce at an increasingly higher level. You understand the dynamics of international marketplaces, online retailers and webshops.

In addition, together with Teams, you ensure that online processes become increasingly efficient and reliable.

Key responsibilities:

 

• Manage and lead the IT E-commerce Team

• Serve as the technical lead for all B2C digital commerce initiatives and projects, working across internal teams and external partners

• Maintain technical support processes and procedures 

• Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues

• Create overarching ecommerce architecture, encompassing ecommerce ordering, product data, user experience, and fulfillment systems

• Dive in to the software infrastructure (ERP System, Online Shop, Marketplaces & our own software solutions)

• Work on WEB development projects 

• Develop standards, policies, procedures, and practices to ensure systems, services and applications meet company needs

• Maintains the documentation for department project specifications, project plans, timelines, etc.

• Develop and deliver on technical roadmaps

• Lead integration efforts between internal and external systems

• Be up to date with e-commerce trends and technologies

 

What we are expecting from you:

 

• 2-4 years’ experience as a PM on e-commerce projects dealing with cross-functional teams, complex processes, and multiple technical platforms

• Knowledge of at least one e-shop solution (Shopify, Magento, JTL ...)

• Background with WEB development projects (Site frontend, Site CMS, API)

• Background with ERP systems

• English - Upper Intermediate, (German basic will be a huge plus)

• Strong IT affinity

• Reliable team player with strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and motivated drive topics

• Able to work in a highly dynamic pace of work, adaptability to rapid changes in projects
