Warehouse and workshop manager / Operations manager at Gipanis GmbH

In connection with the opening of an additional warehouse of 1.800 sq.m. in Zgorzelec / Poland in our company requires a specialist with knowledge of the organization of the warehouse, start from "0" the work of the warehouse. Experience is required. Engineering mindset is welcome!

Founded in 2014, Gipanis GmbH is a dynamic German trading company offering creative brands and products that make life more beautiful.

​

Since 2017, we have launched the online store Laublust, which offers a wide range of products made from FSC-certified wood and natural materials, and unique personalized products developed from scratch by our team.

​

The product has proven itself very well in the German market, and now we are looking for someone close to us to take control of our production workshop and warehouse in Poland.

​

Responsibilities:

 

• Organization of the department: warehouse, receiving, transport logistics, third-party courier services and transport companies.

• Integration of warehouse and logistics processes with production, identification of bottlenecks, optimization of these processes;

• Setting and controlling of financial indicators of business process efficiency;

• Commodity flow processes optimization in terms of IT technology implementation, automation of commodity circulation processes;

• Providing smooth operation of the production workshop - production of orders (engraving, UV printing)

• Organization and control of logistics and stock document flow;

• Setting up TOR and the automation of logistics and warehousing processes;

• Personnel management: determining the number of required personnel, distribution of tasks and placement of workers, recruitment, training, adaptation and motivation of workers. Observance of norms, rules and requirements of labor protection by warehouse employees.

Requirements:

​

• Higher education (technical/economic, additional education in the field of warehouse logistics).

• Knowledge of any WMS systems for automatic management of warehouse operations, experience in e-commerce is desirable.

• Experience in implementing logistics processes, address storage.

• Experience of working in class A warehouses of over 1000m2. 

• Experience of working with daily shipment of 500 or more b2c orders.

• 5 years experience in warehousing, 3 years experience of work as a warehouse manager.

• Knowledge of regulations, rules and requirements of the labour protection, according to the Polish legislation.

• Fluent Russian and Polish. German and/or English would be an advantage.

Before starting work, a paid internship at the company's headquarters in Monchengladbach, Germany - accommodation is paid for by the employer.
