About the role

 

Gipanis GmbH is seeking a Sales and Forecasting Analyst (Merchandise Planner) to join our growing Data team. You are the one who makes forecasts, evaluates efficiency, and calculates risks.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

• Analyze sales figures and sales trends of past periods;

• Make a sales plan based on the analyzed indicators;

• Collaboration with a team of merchandisers and buyers;

• Determine the volume of products for each category

• Control the movement of inventory, turnover, sales;

• Analyze and offer  promotional offers / pricing system, network bonus program, additional discounts on products to optimize sales.

 

Candidate requirements

​

• Higher education (in Economics, Finance etc)

• Relevant work experience of at least 2 years in a company in a position related to planning and forecasting;

• Ability to work with data sets, excellent knowledge of Excel (formulas, macros);

• Diligence, communication skills, resistance to stress, initiative, ability to work in a team.
